El sábado 30 de julio a las 6:30 pm, el Centro Cultural Cubano de Nueva York realizará una inolvidable velada de música cubana, en una de las zonas icónicas de Nueva York, The Village, muy cerca del lugar de nacimiento de Galo Plaza, en Manhattan.

Dirigido por el violinista, cantante y multi-instrumentalista cubano Yrving Yeras, el sonido único del grupo crea una armonía sin precedentes de inspiración y tradición que sumerge a los oyentes en los grandes clásicos cubanos y más allá.
El ritmo contagioso de YeraSon, a la vez elegante y enérgico, atrae a multitudes que bailan y escuchan por igual. Con un repertorio electrizante, que abarcará géneros cubanos con un toque neoyorquino claramente moderno, interpretando son, mambo, cha-cha-chá, boleros, guajiras y merengue auténticos con un impulso y un swing inimitables.
Basando su instrumentación en la YeraSon Orquesta Charanga de diez piezas, el trío logra una sinfonía completa de sonido en un pequeño conjunto, con Yrving Yeras en la voz principal, violín, mando-tres, multipercusión y flauta dulce; Lisa Yeras en el teclado, funcionando como piano y bajo; y Chuito Quintero en multipercusión, con congas, timbales, cencerro, bombo, címbalos y voces, brindando a la audiencia una experiencia musical completa que persiste mucho después de que finaliza el espectáculo.

Dance to your heart’s delight with the Grammy-winning YeraSon trio! Led by Cuban violinist, singer and multi-instrumentalist Yrving Yeras, the group’s unique sound creates an unprecedented harmony of inspiration and tradition which immerses the listeners in the great Cuban classics and beyond.
YeraSon’s contagious rhythm, at once elegant and energetic, attracts dancing and listening crowds alike. The electrifying repertoire will encompass Cuban genres with a distinctly modern New York twist, interpreting authentic son, mambo, cha-cha-chá, boleros, guajiras, and merengue with an inimitable drive and swing.
Basing its instrumentation on the 10-piece YeraSon Orquesta Charanga, the trio achieves a full symphony of sound in a small ensemble—featuring Yrving Yeras on lead vocals, violin, mando-tres, multi percussion, and recorder; Lisa Yeras on keyboard, functioning as piano and bass; and Chuito Quintero on multi percussion, with congas, timbales, cowbell, bass drum, cymbals and vocals—giving the audience a full musical experience that keeps lingering well after the show has ended.
