An elote is a popular and delicious Mexican street food consisting of whole corn on the cob that is boiled or grilled and served with savory, creamy toppings. The hot ear of corn is skewered with a thick wooden stick so you can easily hold and eat it like a popsicle. It is slathered generously with mayonnaise, coated in grated cotija cheese (a salty, crumbly Mexican cheese), and finished with a dusting of chili powder for a little kick. It is the perfect balance of sweet, savory, creamy, and spicy!

Esquites are a popular and delicious Mexican street food consisting of warm corn kernels shaved off the cob, toasted or boiled, and served in a cup. They are tossed with a savory mix of mayonnaise, coated in grated cotija cheese (a salty, crumbly Mexican cheese), and finished with a dusting of chili powder and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. It is the exact same mouthwatering flavor combination as an elote, but much easier to eat on the go with a spoon.

El elote es un antojito callejero mexicano, muy popular y delicioso, que consiste en una mazorca de maíz entera, hervida o asada, que se sirve con aderezos cremosos y salados. La mazorca caliente se inserta en un palito de madera grueso para que puedas sostenerla fácilmente y comerla como una paleta. Se unta generosamente con mayonesa, se cubre con queso cotija rallado (un queso mexicano salado y desmoronable) y se termina con una pizca de chile en polvo para darle un toque especial. ¡Es el equilibrio perfecto entre lo dulce, lo salado, lo cremoso y lo picante!

Los esquites son un antojito callejero mexicano, también muy popular y delicioso, que consiste en granos de maíz tiernos desgranados de la mazorca, tostados o hervidos, y servidos en un vaso.
